Responsibilities:
As a member of our system development team, the successful candidate will oversee all UI development. The candidate will identify UI requirements, define project approach and scoping, and author the user experience strategy for both Windows applications and web pages. He/She will be accountable for the user interaction model, prototypes and interface guidelines. Other responsibilities will include monitoring customer feedback and recommending design improvements to enhance user experience and usability, monitoring Internet industry developments and making recommendations for relevant advancements to Helix's applications, as well as learning new design techniques and technologies as appropriate to ensure leading edge design.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have direct UI design experience in a creative, digital media, web development environment along with successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma. The candidate should also have good knowledge and proven development experience using tools and technologies such as Java, JSP, XML, XSL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Excellent oral and written English communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers are required.

As a member of our web development team, the successful candidate will utilize our Andar e-Community software as well as javascript, HTML, and cascading stylesheets to implement, customize, and support web sites for our clients.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be experienced in Java, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. The candidate must have excellent English oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers. Knowledge of MS SQL Server, AWT, Swing, and JRun would be an asset.

Responsibilities:
As a member of our implementation team, the successful candidate will work closely with our customers and customer service representatives to convert data from legacy systems into our Microsoft SQL-based enterprise system, Andar/360. The conversion process routinely involves extensive data manipulation using SQL queries and custom Java coding.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be experienced in SQL & DTS, and Java application development. The candidate must also have excellent oral and written English communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers. Knowledge of other database systems such as FoxPro and Microsoft Access would be an asset.
