A New Look For Helix

Yesterday, Helix released its "new look" web site to conform to the new Andar/360 brand. Since Helix uses Andar's e-Community engine to drive its web site, our web designer was able to customize our site using existing Andar tools. This is an example of how you can customize your Andar web sites for e-Pledge or other e-Community modules.

Account Reporting

Did you know that campaign structures are there to organize your accounts into groups or market segments? Your donors can be segmented into industry types and subtypes, or into geographical regions, or into any other demographic. You can actually create an unlimited number of different structures. Furthermore, an account can have different campaigns or dollar types summarized in different segments (nodes) of the same structure. These structures can be used as input in most campaign reports to give you the information you need to target donors.

Data Quality Begins With Data Entry - Part 1

As nonprofit organizations collect more and more data, data quality is becoming more and more critical. Poor data quality may be more prevalent in organizations that experience either a high turn-over in staff or use volunteers for data entry. Data entry may not always be consistent. Some information may be placed in notes by some staff while being entered in techniques or dates by other staff.
