MIG Project

The first installment of the MIG project is scheduled for delivery this January. These enhancements will include "Hot Buttons", donor statistics, a new profile report, donor statements, combined givers, and giving months. All of these can be placed on the Bio tabs or Dashboards. The parent/subsidiary tree is now a new tab instead of a separate window so you can now put it on the Bio tab. The Bio tabs and Dashboards will now support more rows and columns for those with wide-screen displays.

e-Class: Generating Tax Receipt Letters

December 17 & 18, 2007, 1:30 ET
January 15 & 16, 2008, 1:30 ET

Helix has scheduled this e-Class in mid-December and mid-January for those who would like to get a 'head-start' on their receipt submission.

In this e-Class, students will explore the entire process of creating IRS tax letters; from selecting transactions using cutoff dates, date ranges and threshold amounts through to downloading the data to the workstation and merging it into an MSWord tax letter document.

Pre-requisites: Basic knowledge of Andar including general knowledge of transaction entry. Knowledge of mail merges in Microsoft Word or other software used to merge Andar data into the tax letter template. Knowledge of IRS tax laws regarding charitable giving receipts.

Target audience: Finance department or person responsible for sending out IRS tax letters.
