United Way Users Group Conference
Bad economic times demands focusing on what's important. It means doing more with less. Knowing how to use your enterprise business tools is critical to working more efficiently and getting the job done right. Training can deliver a fast return on your investment.

This year's United Way Users Group Conference offers 91 information-packed sessions. Choose from basic, intermediate, or advanced level training sessions. Participate in best practice discussions, explore new features and new modules, and try one of the hands-on training labs. Meet other experienced Andar users and share your knowledge.

The 2009 Andar Users Group Conference is right around the corner! As you know, the 2009 conference will again be held in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina, March 2-4. Realizing that a five-day conference is likely not in anyone’s budget for the year, the Planning Committee has condensed the conference from five days to three days, and reduced the registration fee from $550 to $400. We all know these are difficult economic times, but it is in these times that we need to be able to fully utilize Andar to its greatest potential. Did you know…

  1. that you can tag an email in Outlook and save it in Andar? The Outlook Connector will help make paper copies a thing of the past
  2. with the new CRM enhancements you can really beef up your relationships
  3. that you can set up the EFT process to transfer and receive funds? Saving staff time and postage costs.
  4. that you can invite people to attend an event, manage it and track payments, all within Andar? Saving staff time
  5. that the new connector will make it easier to upload donor information into the database? More efficient use of staff time
To fully utilize Andar, staff needs to be continually trained on the new features and options that Helix adds every year in order to be as efficient and effective as possible. The conference offers a great arena for this training to occur. In addition to the training received at the conference, the sharing of ‘best practices’ and tips and tricks is priceless. If your United Way has not yet registered people to attend this conference, please register soon – the deadline is February 1 for hotel reservations, and February 6 for the conference registration. If your United Way has decided NOT to attend this year, we hope you reconsider and weigh the benefits of the knowledge learned and shared about your core database against the cost.
