Users Group Host City
As you know, the United Way Andar Users Group conference is set to be held on March
1 - 3 in Philadelphia. The committee has been working hard to ensure
that this conference is the most helpful and affordable that it can be.
We have been able to sign up a number of sponsors including the
IT Collaborative,
UPIC,
NP&AS, and
Adagio Consulting. In addition we have a few other big name sponsors
who we will announce later.
Because of these very generous sponsors we are able to offer a
discounted conference fee of $220.00 (instead of $370) until the end of
November. You will also notice that there are a few additional items
available this year. For instance, conference participants can opt to
receive a DVD of those sessions they weren't able to attend for $50,
there is a Networking Mixer that is available on Tuesday evening for
$30, and there is a free happy hour on Monday night sponsored by UPIC.
The schedule of conference sessions will be set in January. Unlike in
past years where the committee set the session schedule, we will give
everyone who has registered for the conference by the end of December
the opportunity to vote on what classes they would like to attend. The
class schedule will be set accordingly. What we can tell you now is
there will be an average of 48 sessions a day and there will be classes
in each of the functional areas (Finance, IT, RD, CI, etc).
