
Helix offers an optional "Information and Referral" module for Andar/360. This module has two functions. First, for call centers to respond to information and referral (211) calls from individuals in the community. Andar allows in-depth searching of the services database using standard AIRS taxonomy codes. This module also includes a e-Community component that allows community service providers to maintain their service descriptions online through the web. The e-Community component also allows the general publish to search for services on online. Authorized caseworkers can also search the database and access some information note available to the general public.
Second, the Information and Referral module provides tools for tracking "Contract Calls." This allows customers to provide their agencies with after-hours telephone answering services where the agency's personnel can be paged or called and messages relayed on an "as required" basis.
