Web Envelopes and Events
Service Pack 2008.03 introduced a new "Default Envelope" option when creating miscellaneous web envelopes. This new function allows multiple envelopes to be created, each with a different campaign account. Using the new "EnvelopeKey" URL parameter, you can create links on your web site to collect pledges for specific campaigns.

You can also assign the envelope key to an event to collect all tickets for that event in the given envelope.

10 Year DMO
How do you extract 10 years of giving for your accounts? DMO does have the ability to extract a gift for "2 Years Ago", "3 Years Ago", up to "7 Years Ago", but what about "10 Years Ago"? Easy! Just type in the year you want. Example: "1998" If you do this, you'll need to remember to change it to 1999 next year before you re-run it.

Loyal Contributors
Many of you want to store the year that donors first gave. This is best stored as a date under the attributes tab of the donor's account. To ensure that everyone codes this the same way, patch 2008.02.02 of Andar includes a new system-provided "Loyal Contributor" date type that everyone can use. The age has also been added to the table listing all dates so you can add it to your dashboards to quickly see the number of years the donor has been giving.

Also, with service pack 2008.03, you can include your Loyal Contributor date on the donor statistics screen.

Maps
Did you know that the address tab of accounts has a "Map" button that will show you a map of the selected address? This function is also available on your custom Bio Tabs. The icon located in the top right corner of the address Bio Tab item will allow you to display a Map of the address. You can also get directions to this address from any of your recent or bookmarked accounts.

New CB Web Reporting
Andar's Community Building module allows you to predefine and save specific report layouts. Agencies can then go online and select the specific predefined report and run it without having to select the forms, year, classes, types, etc. One click and it's done!

Community Level Indicators
Helix is proposing to add Community Level Indicators to the Community Building Module. This function will be implemented similarly to outcomes where agencies can align their program outcomes to predefined community outcomes. The new function will allow agencies to align their program indicators to community level indicators. United Ways will then be able to aggregate indicator measurements for a given community indicator for all related programs.

Comments are welcomed.
